Tiananmen Square: Tiananmen Square is a modern creation, China being a land where large public gathering places were not traditionally built. Its construction broke down walls of the Forbidden City to make way for the large thoroughfare, Chang’an Jie.
Forbidden City: The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum. For almost five hundred years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government.
Summer Palace: The Summer Palace is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill and the Kunming Lake.The central Kunming Lake was entirely man made and the excavated soil was used to build Longevity Hill. In the Summer Palace, one finds a variety of palaces, gardens, and other classical-style architectural structures.

Morning, arrive Xi’an. Visit The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses and Moslem Street. Check in at the hotel.
The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses: The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Work is ongoing at this site, which is around 1.5 kilometers east of Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s Mausoleum in Lintong, Xian, Shaanxi Province. It is a sight not to be missed by any visitor to China. Upon ascending the throne at the age of 13 (in 246 BC), Qin Shi Huang, later the first Emperor of all China had begun to work for his mausoleum. It took 11 years to finish. It is speculated that many buried treasures and sacrificial objects had accompanied the emperor in his afterlife. A group of peasants uncovered some pottery while digging for a well nearby the royal tomb in 1974.
It caught the attention of archeologists immediately. They came to Xian in droves to study and to extend the digs. They had established beyond doubt that these artifacts were associated with the Qin Dynasty (211-206 BC).
Moslem Street: Just as its name implies, Moslem Street is the hub of the Moslem community in Xian City, Shaanxi Province.It is paved with dark colored stone with green trees providing heavy shade during summer; the buildings on both sides of the street are modeled on the styles of both the Ming (1368-1644) and the Qing Dynasties (1644-1911).

Morning visit the Ancient City Wall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell Tower (outside).
Ancient City Wall: The main magnet of Xian is the city wall, which is the most complete city wall that has survived in China as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Its south gate is the largest with a suspension bridge. Most of the tourists choose the south gate for sightseeing.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda: is a Buddhist pagoda. It was built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty and originally had five stories, although the structure was rebuilt in 704 during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian and its exterior brick facade was renovated during the Ming Dynasty. One of the pagoda’s many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang.
Bell Tower: It is an ancient structure. In early morning of ancient times it had the mission of ringing the bell and giving the correct time to the whole city, called “The Bell Tower”. This tower became the symbol of Xi’an, ever since the date it was build. Due to its old age, many legends and anecdotes about the Bell Tower had been past on from ancient times.

Shibaozhai – Take a shore excursion to Shibaozhai, with its impressive wooden pagoda, appropriately named ?The Pearl of the Yangtze?. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted to Fengdu, visiting the new relocation village built for families who have moved as a result of the Yangtze’s rising waters brought about by the Three Gorges Dam.

Enter the Three Gorges, one of nature’s most extraordinary sculptures. Today you will pass through the first two—Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Qutang Gorge is the shortest (5 miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic. The 25-mile long Wu Gorge is known for its quiet beauty, forest-covered mountains, and cliffs so sheer that the sun barely penetrates the precipices. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted to the gorges of Shennong Stream. Enter Xiling Gorge, the longest (41 miles), and the deepest of the Three Gorges. In the evening, sail through the Three Gorges Dam ship locks.

Disembark at Yichang and transfer to the airport for flight to Shanghai Arrive in Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. Evening Huang Pu River Cruise.

Acrobatic Show: The Acrobatics at Shanghai are not to be missed. They are held each night and last for about 2 hours. The Shanghai Acrobatic Troupe, established in 1951 is one of the best in China. It frequently tours internationally and performs routinely at Shanghai and other cities in China. An acrobatic show has become one of the most popular evening entertainment for tourists in Shanghai. You can enjoy gravity-defying contortionism, juggling, unicycling, chair- stacking, and plate-spinning acts at the following stages.

Morning visit Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Garden, Nanjing Road and The Bund.
Jade Buddha Temple: was founded in 1882 to house two white jade Buddhas brought from Burma the year before by a monk of Putuo Shan. Destroyed and then abandoned after 1911, the temple buildings were reconstructed on the same site in 1918-28.
Yu Garden: is a famous classical garden located in Anren Jie, Shanghai. The garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. Yu in Chinese means pleasing and satisfying, and this garden was specially built for Pan’s parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age.
Nanjing Road & The Bund: Nanjing Road is the main shopping street of Shanghai, China, and is one of the world’s busiest shopping streets. The Bund is an area of Huangpu District in central Shanghai, People’s Republic of China.
