Day 1: Arrive Guwhati

Transfer to Nameri (approx 6 hrs)

Day 2: Nameri to Dirang (approx 7 hrs)

After a short distance drive, we arrive at Bhalokpong – gateway to Arunachal. Visit the Tipi Orchid centre – the various orchids Arunachal has to offer. The road winds up to the river Kameng passing dense forests. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3: Dirang Sightseeing

After breakfast drive to Thembang to see the Monpa architecture in all its glory. A walk through the old fort gives us the understanding of the history of this village.From here we drive to the Sangti Valley to have a complete different feel of the place and people.

Day 4: Dirang to Tawang (approx 7 hrs)

The most scenic drive of our trip begins today morning. The road keeps climbing up to Sela Pass. Take a photo stop at 14000 feet admiring the beautiful surroundings. Enroute we take a photo stop at Jang waterfalls. Overnight in hotel/Homestay.

Day 5: Tawang Sightseeing

After breakfast visit the beautiful glacial lakes around Tawang. Our first stop is at the Pankang Teng Tso lake. From here we further move up to Sangesar lake known as Madhuri lake. The famous movie Koyla was shot here. Later in the afternoon visit the Tawang Monastery.

Day 6: Tawang to Bomdila (Driving Time: 6 hrs)

Our return jouney starts by driving back to Bomdila. Enroute we visit the Jaswant Ghar- war memorial. Visit the Gentse Gaden Rabgyel Monastery. This monastery is a replica of Tsona Gontse Monastery in South Tibet.

Day 7: Bomdila to Balipara (Driving Time: 6 hrs)

Post breakfast we begin our decent to Assam. We drive to the heart of the Tea Plantations of Assam. Relax and unwind in the comforts of the tea estate.

Day 8: Balipara to Kaziranga (Driving Time: 2 hrs)

After breakfast check out and drive to a village of the Mising tribe. Walk through the village and observe their lifestyle. Get enthralled by a tribal performance. Drive to Kaziranga.

Day 9: Kaziranga

Early morning go on elephant back to get really close to the rhinos. Afternoon go for a jeep safari in the Western Range which has a high density of Rhinos, Deer and other wildlife. Overnight in hotel.
