Travelers Reviews

Thanks for the fabulous time you gave us on the Sri Lanka Trip . This was a very memorable trip with relaxed itinerary , good hotels and off course great company (co-passengers) . Great job done by you and your team . Must compliment the good work done in selecting the Hotels. All the hotels were good and comfortable of which some were located in absolute scenic places . Especially the Hotel in Bentota (Hotel Heritance Ahungalla) with the clean beach and great swimming pools. Hotel in Colombo (The Galadri Hotel) was also situated with the sea view and beach across the road and with background of old Parliament House. . Both the hotels in Nuwara Eliya were very well located – The Galway Forest Lodge, situated at the tea plantations and the St Andrew Hotel near market had good Ambience. Hotel Suisse in Kandy was also well located and comfortable with lovely music /band playing at dinner time. The lunch arranged at some places had excellent scenic view which were quite an experience in itself. e.g. Kitulgala (on the way to Nuwara Eliya – Where the film Bridge on the rover was shot). Absolutely stunning sight with the river flowing amidst green dense forest. Extremely picturesque Gregory Lake – Nuwara Eliya – Lovely lake sight view. Ramoda Falls (near Kandy) – Restaurant with the Ramoda falls as background and the scenic beauty around the falls . Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage ( en-route Kandy to Bentota ) – having lunch while watching elephants bathing is something unique experience. The river Safari (optional) in Madhu Ganga was worth every penny . The botanical gardens tour at Nuwara Eliya and Kandy were good though I personally preferred the The Hakgala Garden at Nuwara Eliya since it was situated in the hills with abundance of greenery . The Tooth Relic Temple of Buddha in Kandy is awesome and in the night it appeared more colourful. Tough all the cities visited by us were good for each had its own beauty , I personally preferred Nuwara Eliya ( called the little England) because of the abundance of greenery (green carpet) with grassland in valleys and the large tea estates on the slopes which made a beautiful landscape . Truly God’s gift to the country . Must also mention that we had a very good support team in Sri Lanka – Our tour guide Mr Ajanta was hilarious and kept us entertained throughout 8 days in Sri Lanka, Sumeet our Coach driver was excellent especially when it came manoeuvring on the hills on the narrow roads and the very helpful Mahesh . There was never a dull moment for we had loads of jokes and laughter . It was a one big family. Hoshang, you not only gave us a great time but what is worth mentioning is the personalised attention you give to all of us which makes all the difference.

Had a fantastic time and we’re very well looked after by Hoshang, it was well spaced out, sometimes the travelling got to me , but on the whole a good experience, look forward to some more trips with you all

Its over a month now that we had a wonderful vacation to Rajasthan with Spenta Tours and U believe we are still talking about our trip at home and with others. Morning call of 7 (tea time) 8 (breakfast) and 9 (board the bus) daily for 14 days with a group of 30 plus, young and old, was an enjoyable experience.Singalong during our sightseeing and long destination coach travel still rings in Nafisa’s ears. We enjoyed each day as we went ahead in our journey. We are budget travellers and each year we look forward to such vacation twice a year. But we prefer to tour on our own at our pace and not join a group tour considering certain do’s and don’t when you tour with a group. However, with Spenta Group we found that each day’s itinerary was well planned and there was no rush for anything considering an average age group being 70 plus. Your choice of Hotel accommodation at all the locations was very good and the night stay was clean and comfortable. Home stay in Jodhpur was a different experience for us in our country like B/B accommodation abroad. Your thought of providing lunch and dinner at the restaurant in the same hotel is wise as this gives free time and relaxation out of day’s travel. We suggest you to continue in your future tours. Buffet lunch and dinner at most of the locations was tasty and well prepared but too oily and pungent. You may inform the restaurants in advance of our palate. We want to make a special mention in this mail that we found the purpose of Spenta Tours to give money’s worth and send everybody happy and contented. We also would like to mention the personal efforts taken by Hoshang and Viv to help the old and less abled guests in the group and show them the maximum. It was indeed a Spenta Family Vacation to Rajasthan. In future we would be interested in visiting Leh/Ladakh and Wagah Border/Amritser. Please keep us posted. Wishing happy Jamshedi Navroz to both of you and your family.

We, FARROKH & i travelled to Rajasthan from 18th Feb to 5th March’14. The tour was delightful and very well planned. The tour director Hoshang Jal bent backwards to keep us all comfortable and very satisfied with all the sight seeing, hotel accomodations, food, drinks!! and entertainment. We really appreciated all the efforts put in by him. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday! A SPECIAL mention about the bus driver Roop Singh. He was excellent, polite and very obliging. We felt very safe in his capable hands. Thanks for everything.

It was a well planned and well carried out trip. we enjoyed every bit of it. The Hotels were chosen with care and each of them did their best to make our stay comfortable. The road travel was so good that I didn’t feel that we had travelled such long distances. The bus, the driver and the cleaner were all just top class. The food- it was the best you could ask for in such places where we are not sure what and where to eat. The care and concern with which Mr Hoshang our Tour Leader carried out his duties were by far the best. He gets an A for his patience and fortitude in dealing with each and every one of us. This was the first tour I had been to in my adult life and I can guarantee you it wont be my last! I have already started talking to all who ask me how my trip was that it was beyond expectations. All thanks to Hoshang!!

I had heard a lot of good things about Spenta Tours so I decided to join them for South Africa. After spending a few days together we were really like a big family travelling together. Hoshang is the best tour leader I have ever travelled with. He really takes very good care of each and every person travelling in the tour. I made a lot of friends who I keep in touch with now. The tour was completely hassel free. If you join Spenta tours you can be sure that you will have a fantastic time and will feel very sad when it ends. Since I had such a great time with them in South Africa, I would like to travel to various other destinations too. I also went with them to Dubai in January 2014 and had good fun. Now in June 2014 I will be joining their Russia & Scandinavia tour. This itself speaks volumes of how I enjoy traveling with the Spenta family. At their Colaba office working behind the scenes to make all the tours a success are Viv, Shukla and Rustom. If I have ever needed any help Viv is just a phone call away and I know that my work will be done. Thanks Viv for everything. I salute the Spenta Team. May I keep traveling with you all.

My first trip was to Kerala and the second to South Africa. No complaints at all – all the arrangements were superb. The last day in Kerala was at Hotel Uday Samudra was simply fantastic. The Sun City Hotel in South Africa was like staying in a palace.

We wish Hoshang, Havovi and Tushad continuing success and rewards, resulting from their earnest, sincere and well-planned efforts. Over the past several days we have seen clear evidence that customer satisfaction is of prime importance for Hoshang and his team. This means that he planned, invested money and time, to make this a memorable tour. Havovi, we appreciate the very sincere efforts made by you to ensure that the meals we are served are palatable and that we are not left to the mercy of the food by the local cooks. Your active participation in organizing the games before dinner has been fun for the group. Tushad, we are pleased to have you as a Spenta team member and participate with enthusiasm in the activities. This should be a good learning experience to help you follow in your father’s footsteps and to imbibe some of his outstanding qualities. Our sincere thanks to Taramon and Lepo for their valuable contribution, without which we would remain ignorant on the history and culture of Bhutan. We need to compliment our 3 bus drivers who have shown us their driving skills on narrow, winding roads, with safety of passengers as their top priority. We also appreciate their untiring efforts at loading and unloading baggage systematically.
